Your gateway to the euro zone
The euro is now the world’s second reserve currency after the dollar, representing nearly 20% of total central bank reserves — up from 12.6% in 1999.
NYSE Euronext, the world’s premier market operator
NYSE Euronext was created by the 2007 merger of the New York Stock Exchange and Euronext group. The new structure confirms the central role of Paris as Europe’s premier market platform for equities and equity derivatives, and reported the strongest rise in trade volumes of any European financial market since the 1999 launch of the euro.
Innovative finance
Finance Innovation, the Paris-based cluster dedicated to the financial industry, brings together banks, insurance companies, asset managers, financial service providers, universities and research centers. It promotes a collective approach to development, encouraging employment and backing a drive to raise the French financial industry’s share of European and international markets.

Shared customs duties across the European Union |
|
Goods circulate freely within the EU, and customs duties are levied only once on imports — even when these are transferred from one member state to another. No customs fees or VAT are charged on goods entering France for re-export to another EU member state.
